How many of you remember your sweet sixteenth birthday?

My mom did put together a surprise party for me with a few of my close friends and a few school friends. It was held next door at a private home of friends of our family. The home was built in the 1700's. It was full of interesting things to see, including trap doors, etc. The kids were pretty intrigued by some of the objects in the home .It turned out to be a fun time and I remember my mother and father had saved to buy me a white bed and bureau set. It was a special party with lots of food, and we danced outside on their patio..
