Is Nintendo's Project Cafe a major hoax?

I've heard the rumor from one of my friends about Nintendo showing a new system at this year's E3 Expo called :"Project Cafe" and to be honest with you that stupid hype is nothing but a major hoax! Is it worth it to be excited about this phony hype about a four hundred dollar system?
